Arabic Stallion Sculpture

This design features a pure-bred Arabian stallion rearing on its hind legs. The horse has what is termed a “dish face”, which is a typical feature for the breed. This is a recess in the forehead of pure bred Arabian stallions.

The horse was made from brass and gold plated to 5 microns and stood 311mm high. It was mounted on a plinth that is 94mm high which is constructed from layers of Agate at the top, with 39mm of hand-polished Rock Crystal, a 13mm Gold-Plated Filigree, and 26mm of hand-polished Epidote. The gold Filigree features a traditional Arabic design pattern. The total height of the sculpture including the base was 410mm including the base, and 337mm at the longest point, and 250mm wide.
