Wednesday marked the launch of our brand new ‘Alice’ capsule collection, made up of exquisite ladies’ tote bags, clutches and small leather accessories. To celebrate the new collection, we hosted a press breakfast at our Mayfair store on Wednesday morning for over 40 top luxury journalists and fashion stylists.
Introducing Alice
Our Deputy Chairman Mark Henderson gave a speech introducing Alice, and went on to talk about what makes Thomas Lyte such an English brand, the company history and his love of all things London.

The Alice Handbags
The collection is quintessentially English; the pieces are delicate and decidedly feminine, and available in colour ways that are reminiscent of an English summer garden. The perfect accessories for summer social events, the Alice bags are effortlessly stylish pieces that epitomise lady-like luxury.

The Alice collection is entirely hand crafted and uses beautiful butter soft nappa leather for both the outer body and the lining of the bags. This symmetry gives the Alice a wonderful vintage feel
as well as adding sumptuous movement and drape to each piece. The delicate ‘bootstrap’ handles and trim are made from luxurious padded lizard skin in contrasting shades while the buttons and furnishings are rhodium finished.
Alice Clutch in Peppermint and Vanilla
As intriguing as she is beautiful, concealed inside the Alice are hidden pockets and pouches. The Alice clutch features a zipped inner pocket, and another invisible pocket hidden behind this. The Alice Tote hides a discreet pouch towards the base of the lining, which contains a tiny coin purse that is a perfect mirror image of the Alice herself. A chic addition to the Alice bags is the Alice key ring, which is also beautifully hand crafted using nappa leather and lizard.
