This trophy was first made in the 1970s and had not been used for a number of years. Thomas Lyte Silver totally restored the trophy, adding additional enamel flags and adding an additional plinth for new engraving. A smaller replica was also made at the same time to be retained by the winner of the tournament held in July at the London Club in Kent.
