A special silver putter was given to the Hong Kong Golf Association and the Hong Kong Golf Club to mark the 50th anniversary of the country's oldest sporting event. The sterling silver golf putter, commissioned by the European Tour, is a replica of a late 18th-century putter and is made in the London workshops of Thomas Lyte. In addition to the putter, the commemorative trophy comes with 12 decorative sterling silver balls that are mounted onto a black plinth.
