In Pride and Prejudice Mr Darcy described Elizabeth Bennet as "one of the handsomest women"' with a "light and pleasing" figure. Rather fittingly, this bag - the Eliza Tote, £795 - is named after that very lady. The fine leather bag is suede-lined and has silk pockets. Created by English designer Thomas Lyte and hand cut and sewn by master craftsmen in his Fulham workshop, the bag is traditionally British. Its mustard colour, however, throws it right into SS11.'
