Each year before the final the trophy arrives at our workshop to be assessed for repairs and to be re-polished before the Wembley final. Great care has to be taken with this very old and important trophy and it is a testament to the skills of the Thomas Lyte Silver workshop that the FA entrusts Thomas Lyte Silver with the care and repair of this most iconic sporting trophy.
