LFW Trend Report - Mad for Metallics

Whether it is silvery hues at Whistles or hard and structured metallics at McQ, Sports Luxe is still trending for Spring 15. The London catwalks were a wash with this lustrous colour and we couldn't be more excited as we are just about to launch our Lottie Tote, in Crackled Silver!

LFW Trend Report - Mad for Metallics

Spaghetti-strap shift dress in iridescent organza and draping duster coats in jersey and silvery crepe combinations, Thomas Lyte loves this more feminine direction that Richard Nicoll’s has taken.

While Nicolls moves away from his signature androgynous style, Whistle’s cements their image as the go-to working women’s brand. By situating their catwalk at the entrance to King’s Cross tube station, they put the model into the context of their customer: a women who effortlessly mixes style with practicality just like the way they mixed silver hues with classic shapes.

While we like to see the softer side of silver, we just can’t ignore our love of it’s harder, more Sport Luxe edge, as shown by the structured oversized jackets and miniskirts of McQ’s new collection. Simply add a silvery accent with our Cracked Silver Lottie Tote, available online very soon!
