Thomas Lyte are proud designers and makers of the Star Sixes Trophy. Star Sixes is the first ever competitive tournament for world renowned former international footballers. With twelve national teams, the players play a six-a-side competition continuing to wear their country's colours. Launched in 2017, the competition is first being staged in London's iconic o2 Arena.
Reflecting the logo of the competition, the trophy features five outer stars at the end of silver plated rods. A gold plated sixth star is featured in the centre at the top of the trophy encased in the outline of a football. Our skilled silversmiths took over 50 craft hours to sculpt this trophy.
We also handcrafted medals which compliment the trophy with the use of the green brand colour and use of the tournament logo.
A galaxy of stars have already been announced for the first competition in 2017, including: Roberto Carlos (Brazil), Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, David James, Emile Heskey (England), Carles Puyol, Gaizka Mendieta (Spain), Michael Ballack (Germany), Deco (Portugal), Robert Pirès (France), Jay-Jay Okocha (Nigeria) and Dominic Matteo (Scotland) to name but a few.
